As part of the one-day professional forum organized on the 13th of October 2018 in Marseille (France), "Rencontres Films Femmes Méditerranée" is launching a call for projects to select 10 Mediterranean female directors (as long as they have already made a film, short or full-length) that will be invited (travel and accommodation expenses included) to present their film projects to producers of the Mediterranean area.
The aim is two-fold: first to foster the production of projects carried out by the selected film-makers, then to support the latter in the development of their film thanks to the one-to-one exchanges with producers available to them on this occasion.

This platform is part of the Axis 1 "Strengthening the capacities of equality actors" of the Priority Solidarity Fund "Women for the future in the Mediterranean" funded by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and led by the European Institute of the Mediterranean, in the framework of the project “Developing Women's Empowerment” labelled by the Union for the Mediterranean.
