The goal of this grant is to provide a support for women’s actions and/or for capacity-buildings in the southern social movements, particularly women and feminist movements from the following countries: Mozambique, Colombia, Senegal and Morocco, by incorporation a gender approach based on human rights and responding to the priorities and objectives of the Master Plan for cooperation and development.
The Catalan Agency for Development Cooperation (ACDD) has launched this call aimed at supporting non-profit associations working on cooperation projects. The grant has two levels.
The initial duration of the projects is 12 months. The period can be extend if necessary up to a maximum of 3 months relative to the total length of the project, except in case of force majeure authorized by the ACCD.
The deadline for presenting candidatures is 8th September 2017.

This platform is part of the Axis 1 "Strengthening the capacities of equality actors" of the Priority Solidarity Fund "Women for the future in the Mediterranean" funded by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and led by the European Institute of the Mediterranean, in the framework of the project “Developing Women's Empowerment” labelled by the Union for the Mediterranean.
