Awareness session about girls’ marriage and violence against women was held in the context of the social campaign to combat child marriage and #16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence campaign.
In line with #16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence Campaign, AEFL attends the webinar "Accelerating the End of Child Marriage in the MENA Region. From Evidence-based Research to Policy and Programme Building: Showcasing Learning and Results" organized by Child Protection Hub to show the findings of the research "Understanding girl-child marriage amongst Syrian refugee communities in Jordan and Lebanon"
This platform is part of the Axis 1 "Strengthening the capacities of equality actors" of the Priority Solidarity Fund "Women for the future in the Mediterranean" funded by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and led by the European Institute of the Mediterranean, in the framework of the project “Developing Women's Empowerment” labelled by the Union for the Mediterranean.
