After being officially summoned and charged for the first time, on 22 March 2016 in the Case No. 173 for the year 2011, known in the media as “The NGOs’ Foreign Funding” Case, and for the second time on 18 June 2018, to be released on bail amounting in Thirty Thousand Egyptian Pounds, Mozn Hassan, the Executive Director of Nazra for Feminist Studies was officially informed on July 28 2021, to appear at 12.30 pm on Thursday 29 July Cairo time before the Investigation Jude for the third time.
This comes after the North Cairo Criminal Court - Circuit 30 - rejected the appeals of feminist activist and WHRD Mozn Hassan against the travel ban order imposed on her since June 2016. The Court also rejected the appeal of Nazra for Feminist Studies against the assets freeze order imposed on the organization since January 2017.
This platform is part of the Axis 1 "Strengthening the capacities of equality actors" of the Priority Solidarity Fund "Women for the future in the Mediterranean" funded by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and led by the European Institute of the Mediterranean, in the framework of the project “Developing Women's Empowerment” labelled by the Union for the Mediterranean.
