The different associations that are part of the Voix de femmes project (lead by Forum Femmes Méditerranée and funded by the Anna Lindh Foundation) continue to develop all kinds of activities in line with the objectives of the project.
In May, FFM lead a writing workshop Writing workshop in Marseille.
Voix de femmes has a two-fold aim: On the one hand, it aims to provide a space for reflection on discrimination and violence suffered by women in the Mediterranean in order to contribute to awareness of these phenomena and, consequently, to produce strategies to combat them. In addition, Voix de femmes also aims to highlight Euro-Mediterranean artistic expressions that are arisingp in response to the types of violence accentuated by the pandemic. This project questions and proposes responses based on resilience and feminism.
With a networking approach, these expressions are of great relevance to build solid intercultural dialogues in the Mediterranean. Through activities focused on different artistic formats, the project refers to the Mediterranean artistic plurality. Furthermore, associations and institutions from France, Spain, Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia provide elements of analysis of the Mediterranean artistic fabric from a transdisciplinary and multilingual perspective.
Voix de femmes is conformed by: Forum Femmes Méditerranée, the IEMed, Association Agir Ensemble, Association Djazairouna des familles victimes du terrorisme islamiste et l’Association We Love Sousse.
