In the framework of supporting the abilities of women members of municipal councils from several states in Tunisia, CAWTAR held a training session on transformative leadership during the month of March.
The training sought to consolidate the knowledge of the participants on transformative leadership and to help them develop their participatory skills to improve their performance in their surroundings and municipalities in order to succeed in creating change.
The session also aimed to create space for the participants to share their experiences on political life.
The course was carried out in partnership with the Canadian Federal Forum supported by the Canadian government.
This platform is part of the Axis 1 "Strengthening the capacities of equality actors" of the Priority Solidarity Fund "Women for the future in the Mediterranean" funded by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and led by the European Institute of the Mediterranean, in the framework of the project “Developing Women's Empowerment” labelled by the Union for the Mediterranean.
