Some gender-based forms of violence, such as honour crimes or child marriages, are escalating in Syria, following the toll of the war and its multi-layered impact. As a result, little girls are experiencing all sorts of mental and physical problems that might last for a lifetime.
Despite the efforts made by the media and civil society and humanitarian organizations to stop these practices, their figures keep raising. This calls for in-depth analyses.
