In August 2020, the Business Women Forum - Palestine held individual trainings and orientation meetings in the framework of a new product development initiative within a project for women entrepreneurs in the embroidery, sewing and fashion design sector in Palestine. These trainings and meetings aimed at strengthening the technical skills of women and developing their production skills, as well as promoting the competitive advantage of products and creating new markets locally and internationally.
This activity comes within the project « Leadership of Women and Youth – Initiative », carried out by Care International (West Bank/Gaza) in cooperation with the Ministry of National Economy; with support from Canada’s government for four years 2018-2022 In partnership with the Business Women Forum, the Center for Continuing Education at Birzit University in West Bank, the Save Youth Future Society "SYFS" and the Centre for Small Enterprises in Gaza Strip with the support of Canadian government.
This platform is part of the Axis 1 "Strengthening the capacities of equality actors" of the Priority Solidarity Fund "Women for the future in the Mediterranean" funded by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and led by the European Institute of the Mediterranean, in the framework of the project “Developing Women's Empowerment” labelled by the Union for the Mediterranean.
