On June 18 and 19, WIBA Community which is part of the Women in Business of Algeria (WIBA) association, participated in the first EU Med Roadshow "Scaling Up Finance for Inclusive Development" organized by the Center of Arab Woman for Training and Research (CAWTAR) within the framework of the EU-funded project EBSOMED (Enhancing Business Support Organizations).
The event offered stimulating opportunities to further develop networking and exchange of experiences and gathered actors, specifically women business associations, from the Euro-Mediterranean Ecosystem to discuss topics related to access to finance for SMEs and micro enterprises in Southern Neighborhood Countries (SNC).
The Algerian group participating at the event was composed of representatives of WIBA, the Association of Algerian Women Business Leaders "SEVE", the Algerian Observatory of Women (OAF), the Research Center for Applied Economics for Development-CREAD, IFM and Youth LED Algeria Project.

This platform is part of the Axis 1 "Strengthening the capacities of equality actors" of the Priority Solidarity Fund "Women for the future in the Mediterranean" funded by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and led by the European Institute of the Mediterranean, in the framework of the project “Developing Women's Empowerment” labelled by the Union for the Mediterranean.
