The Care of Children of Female Prisoners Association organized training on the management of small and micro projects and marketing skills targeting a number of female debtors at association´s headquarters in Al-doki in Giza (Egypt) between 23 and 25 October 2018.
The training comes is part of the Association’s efforts to empower female debtors economically and support them in the face of poverty.
Mr. Yahya Hashim, sociology professor and expert in social protection for the development of small and micro enterprises, facilitated the training, which included a presentation of the mechanisms needed to manage small projects and identify strengths, opportunities and marketing challenges. Trainees also had the opportunity to explain their projects or project proposals and discuss them with the trainer.
This platform is part of the Axis 1 "Strengthening the capacities of equality actors" of the Priority Solidarity Fund "Women for the future in the Mediterranean" funded by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and led by the European Institute of the Mediterranean, in the framework of the project “Developing Women's Empowerment” labelled by the Union for the Mediterranean.
