On September 24 2018, the Care of the Children of Female Prisoners Association signed a collaboration agreement with the National Foundation for Family and Community Development, which is affiliated to the Egyptian Ministry of Insurance and Social Affairs, to support imprisoned female debtors involved in the project ‘’New Life” and facilitate the marketing the garments and leather products they produce. According to this agreement the project’s products will be exhibited and sold in the seasonal and permeant show rooms of the Ministry of Insurance and Social Affairs.
‘’New Life” project aims at empowering, educating and providing vocational training to female debtors after their release from prison. It also aims to eliminate the social stigma that these women suffer from.
