Life Foundation for Development and Community Reintegration continues to implement important and vital activities within the framework of its project "Towards the rehabilitation and social integration of prisoners with a focus on female prisoners". Two of the most recent activities of Life foundation are:

• ‘’Economic mpowerment of ex-prisoners through commercial transport’’. Life foundation recently launched an invitation to establish local partnerships for community development in five Egyptian governorates (Alexandria, Beheira, Sharkia, Dakahlia, Qalyubia). This EU-funded project seeks to build the capacity of partner associations to implement initiatives and campaigns that would significantly change the social and economic conditions of former female prisoners.
• Launch of a manual to address the psychological effects of freedom-restricting sanctions in the framework of an annual conference of the Foundation. This guide aims to provide social and psychological support for female prisoners.
