20 women from Wilaya de Blida (Algeria) participated in a training on "Income-Generating Activities (IGA)", held on 20 and 21 April 2018 at the headquarters of the association Djazairouna in Blida.
This training is part of a project run jointly by the association Djazairouna and Forum Femmes Méditerranée (FFM) with the aim of meeting the needs of equality, empowerment, and emancipation of women, and of strengthening their role.
The training which was facilitated by Esther Fouchier, President of FFM, focused on the activities of solidarity tourism, crafts and beauty and plant-based health products, as well as on social marketing.

This platform is part of the Axis 1 "Strengthening the capacities of equality actors" of the Priority Solidarity Fund "Women for the future in the Mediterranean" funded by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and led by the European Institute of the Mediterranean, in the framework of the project “Developing Women's Empowerment” labelled by the Union for the Mediterranean.
