On the 14th and the 15th of April 2018, Tazghart Association organized two workshops to scrutinize and analyse available data and the views of number of female elected of different local authorities on how to advance women’s role within these local authorities known as ‘’Territorial collectives’’ in Ifrane. The first workshop which lasted three hours took place at the cultural centre of Azrou in presence of female consultants of the territorial collectives of Azrou, Tigrigra, Ben samim, Oued ifrane, Sidi el makhfi, and various local stakeholders.
The second workshop also lasted three hours and took place at the Youth House in Ifrane, in presence of female consultants from the collectives of Ifrane, Tizguite, Dayat Aoua and Timhadite, together with number of local stakeholders and women wishing to run for the territorial collectives.
Both workshops were conducted within the frame work of a field diagnosis as part of the project "Strengthening the capacity of equality actors" funded by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs (MEAE) and coordinated by the IEMed in synergy with the Euro- Mediterranean Women’s Foundation.
