From March 21 to 31, 2018, representatives of Tazghart Association conducted a field visit to the headquarters of the various municipalities of Ifrane province where they conducted a survey and in-depth interviews with female elected to the local authorities of this province. This was part of the activities of a diagnosis that will analyse the role of elected women in local authorities in the province of Ifrane.
This diagnosis is part of the project "Strengthening the capacity of equality actors" funded by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs (MEAE) and coordinated by IEMed in synergy with the Euro – Mediterranean Women’s Foundation’s action.
This diagnosis, which is planned for the period from March 10 to May 15, 2018, will involve the elected officials both males and females, as well as representatives of associations of the province.
This platform is part of the Axis 1 "Strengthening the capacities of equality actors" of the Priority Solidarity Fund "Women for the future in the Mediterranean" funded by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and led by the European Institute of the Mediterranean, in the framework of the project “Developing Women's Empowerment” labelled by the Union for the Mediterranean.
