Elmehwar trains social workers on gender concepts in the upper countryside of Egypt

A team composed of Maha Khayrullah, expert on gender oriented training, the president of Elmehwar Association for Family Development, and Dr. Huda Qandil, expert on Gender based violence oriented trainings, continue to train social workers in different areas of the Upper Countryside of Egypt on gender concepts and issues.

This series of trainings which is taking place in collaboration with Goethe – Institute started earlier this year (2017) and aims to qualify and form female groups to promote women’s rights in the Governorates of Minya, Assoutt and Luxor.

The trainings are composed of various activities especially designed to promote people’s awareness  regarding gender issue and gender integration with the communities of Egypt Upper Countryside.
