13.03.2017 / Created by RSCAA

The association ''Roles for Social Change’’ is implementing the activities of the project "Empowering Women in Decision-Making and Accountability in Local Councils", funded by the Dutch government and in partnership with the Bedouin Local Councils, the Ministry of Local Government, the Ministry of Women's Affairs, the General Federation of Palestinian Women and the Ma'an Network.

In this framework, the association held a dialogue meeting with an official about the services provided to the bedouin community in Umm al-Khair, The aim of the meeting was to raise the voice of Bedouin women and to explain their needs to decision-makers, strengthen ties and networking between Bedouin women and decision-makers, and change the negative stereotypical portrayal of the role of traditional Bedouin women.
