JCW implemented a variety of projects in 2015 in partnership with international donors including:
• the provision of training on gender equality and UN resolution 1325 CEDAW for targeted grassroots organizations (male and female) with funding from the " Canadian Kairos " Kairos Foundation.
• Our Project with the United Church Foundation of Canada ‘Palestinian Women through the eyes of their youth'the target of which was to include young people and especially young men in the fight for women’s rights and equality in Palestine. This was done through the provision of training sessions designed to provide them with the necessary skills and knowledge to advocate and lobby for an equal society.
• We implemented an innovative project funded by the UNDP to investigate the prevalence of drug use in Jerusalem, especially among women addicts which has not previously been investigated as it is seriously taboo in Palestinian Society. We have carried out the research and we are now working on establishing a mobile rehabilitation and treatment center based on a model used in Haifa. The project will be completed in December 2016.
