Within the project "Strengthening the capacities of actors working for gender equality" funded by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development, the European Institute of the Mediterranean –IEMed- and its partners (founding members of the Foundation) are looking for organizations capable of encouraging networking among different gender equality actors in their territory according to a participatory approach.

This call for applications is aimed at the associations of seven beneficiary countries: Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine and Tunisia. The organizations selected (1 per country) will promote a pilot mobilization action on a common theme, which will lead to a mutual strengthening of competences in the field of gender equality, a diagnosis of local needs and the definition of specific projects to meet the problems detected.

The organizations who are interested are invited to read the call for applications and send the application form in English, French or Arabic to euromedwomen@iemed.org before 8 July 2015.
