5 and 6 February 2015 in Barcelona
From the outset, gender studies have been partly related to language, writing and words for several reasons: first, because the feminist perspective can be seen as a gesture of reading of all kinds of discourses that rejects the supposedly universal humanism; next, because the feminist practice of literature and the arts has involved a major contribution to the transformation of the patriarchal socio-economic order; and, finally, because women taking the floor has been one of the main demands of the first "liberation"·movements.
Results: This seminar enabled continuation of the practice of the PhD workshop that brought together young researchers from Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco, France and Spain who began working on the project of a Euro-Mediterranean Network of Young Researchers on Gender and Women within RUSEMEG.
This seminary is part of the Axis 1 "Strengthening the capacity of equality actors”, of the project “Women for the future in the Mediterranean” funded by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development, and the project “Developing Women’s Empowerment”, labelled by the Union for the Mediterranean.
This platform is part of the Axis 1 "Strengthening the capacities of equality actors" of the Priority Solidarity Fund "Women for the future in the Mediterranean" funded by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and led by the European Institute of the Mediterranean, in the framework of the project “Developing Women's Empowerment” labelled by the Union for the Mediterranean.
