The meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Euro-Mediterranean Women’s Foundation took place today at the European Institute of the Mediterranean’s headquarters of the FFEM in Barcelona with the presence of the founding institutions Cawtar, FLDF, FFM, DiMed, RUSEMEG and IEMed.
The Foundation has approved the promotion of an activity plan for the period 2023-2024 in the matter of #genderequality and women’s empowerment.
Soukaina Boraui, the president of the FFEM CAWTAR ONG has concluded the meeting with a call for solidarity with the population affected by the earthquake in Morocco, and especially for the territorial pole of the FFEM in Marrakech working close to the women of the region.
This platform is part of the Axis 1 "Strengthening the capacities of equality actors" of the Priority Solidarity Fund "Women for the future in the Mediterranean" funded by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and led by the European Institute of the Mediterranean, in the framework of the project “Developing Women's Empowerment” labelled by the Union for the Mediterranean.
