On June 12, 2022, the CLUSTER partners met to discuss the future e-learning tools and e-platform. These are to be made available to trainees in the 7 mediterranean partner countries.
This initiative aims to help the employability and social inclusion of NEETs (Not in Education, Employment, or Training), especially women. The areas that those trainings will cover are hydroponics, aquaponics, food processing and organic farming. They also include a soft skills and entrepreneurship curriculum based on the Maharat MED project.
Each project country organizes 5 rounds of online trainings, aiming to reach a total of 250 young people per project country. Regardless of geography and age, this offer is intended to give the opportunity to learn about the 4 sectors mentioned in order to facilitate entry into work in these areas. The courses should each last 2 weeks and are offered as recorded courses and live sessions.
This platform is part of the Axis 1 "Strengthening the capacities of equality actors" of the Priority Solidarity Fund "Women for the future in the Mediterranean" funded by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and led by the European Institute of the Mediterranean, in the framework of the project “Developing Women's Empowerment” labelled by the Union for the Mediterranean.
