The training program for building young leaders, funded by the Cyprus Representative, was implemented under the patronage of the Minister of Women’s Affair, Amal Hamad, and in cooperation with the Society of Women Graduates. The three days training addressed the concepts of gender, development, gender-based violence and political participation and was attended by more than 25 young women. It is worth mentioning that the certificates will be delivered after the completion of the program in all the Gaza Strip governorates.
This platform is part of the Axis 1 "Strengthening the capacities of equality actors" of the Priority Solidarity Fund "Women for the future in the Mediterranean" funded by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and led by the European Institute of the Mediterranean, in the framework of the project “Developing Women's Empowerment” labelled by the Union for the Mediterranean.
