The CMC held the second edition of the photographic exhibition that sheds light on various aspects of Palestinian women’s life, and reflects their different roles in society. This activity comes within the "Gender Equality in the Occupied Palestinian Territory - Kayani" project, in partnership with CARE International Organization in Palestine (West Bank/Gaza) and a number of local institutions with the support of the Palestinian government
Andalib Adwan, Director of the Community Media Center, said, “We held the first edition of the exhibition in Gaza City, and in order to reach the largest number of groups and interested parties, we held the second edition in Rafah governorate, where we concluded the activities of the Kayani project, on which we worked for three years."
The project aims at correcting social concepts about the roles of Palestinian women in general and women with disabilities in particular, and at highlighting their ability to participate and be creative in all fields, as well as promoting concepts and images of gender equality.
