The journalist Nawal Mustafa, founder and chairman of the Association for Children of Women Prisoners, signed a memorandum of understanding between the Association and the “Frisiana” company to support owners of small projects.
The memorandum of understanding aims to support the current and former prisoners in situation of poverty targeted by the association, and to empower them economically through education and training of various types of handicrafts. Nawal Mustafa confirmed that the Association places at the forefront of its priorities the provision of psychological and economic support to the target group of current and former prisoners in situation of poverty, and seeks to achieve this through several means, including professional empowerment.
