As part of the EU-funded regional programme Combating Violence against Women in the Southern Mediterranean Region (2019-2021), the EuroMed Feminist Initiative developed a manual for Teachers on Gender Sensitive Education.
This handbook offers ways to integrate the gender dimension of education in the classroom and provides a toolkit featuring women role models from past to present.
In Jordan, the Ministry of Education adopted the manual to build teachers’ capacities on gender equality topics and promote women’s human rights through education
This platform is part of the Axis 1 "Strengthening the capacities of equality actors" of the Priority Solidarity Fund "Women for the future in the Mediterranean" funded by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and led by the European Institute of the Mediterranean, in the framework of the project “Developing Women's Empowerment” labelled by the Union for the Mediterranean.
