Published in the issue 25 of the revue Genre et Histoire (La revue de l’Association Mnémosyne) with the title "History of Women and Gender in Muslim Societies: Historical Revivals", this article is divided into two sections: "Invisibility of women, colonial heritage and feminist commitment" in Muslim societies, and "For a social history with a gender lens: several "shifts" in the gaze".
This dossier was produced within the framework of the Mobility & Humanities project of the Department of Historical and Geographical Sciences and the Ancient World of the University of Padua (DiSSGeA).
