CAWTAR (Center of Arab Women for Training and Research) issued a second Cawtaryat edition about women and COVID-19 to discuss the implication of coronavirus on the economic and digital reality of women compared to men, in an attempt - jointly with the member of the Arab Network Gender and Development (ANGED) - to delve into women-specific situations that are reflected in figures and reality and place them at the heart of the strategies for change. The issue tackles digitalization, digital divide, education, life chances and the informal labour market in the wake of COVID with a gender perspective, among other topics.
