Gender statistics are statistics on gender issues, measuring the status of men and women in various fields and during their life cycle. They are one of the many other statistical branches; they have their own concepts, tools and methodologies.
At the same time, however, they intersect with traditional statistical sections, which include statistics on households, health, economics, poverty, education and training, human rights and others. Gender statistics are aimed at preparing, producing and disseminating gender-disaggregated statistics, since they concern not only women but also their role and the role of men in society.
