This guide is generally intended to provide imams, preachers and community leaders with information and guidance to expand their knowledge on gender-based violence in order to support them in awareness raising and counselling, as well as in helping in transferring cases to competent authorities, as provided for by the National Transfer System of women victims of violence.
It is worth mentioning that this guide is the first of its kind in the Arab region.
