24.01.2019 / Created by ILIHFC

In this article, Isha L’Isha – Haifa Feminist Center brief readers on the legal status of women who lack it in Israel, such as Palestinian women married to Israeli partners, asylum seekers and refugees and trafficking victims. The article also explains how almost all of these women have no supportive community and live in social and cultural isolation, and deep fear of Israeli immigration authorities. Most often, they do not reach out for assistance, their status is not recognized, and they fear being deported and most of all being separated from their children and families.
