In this interview with Mushriqat magazine, Emilie Vidal, Coordinator of the gender Programme at the European Institute of the Mediterranean (IEMed) and of the Euro – Mediterranean Women’s Foundation (FFEM), reflects on the current status of gender equality on both sides of the Mediterranean, on men’s role in advocating for women’s rights, and on the contributions of the FFEM and the members of its network in advancing equality and achieving social justice in the region.
