Gender Equality in the ESS

Higher Council of the SSE (CSESS) prepares a report every three years on gender equality in the Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE). This first triennial report, produced under the mandate of the CSESS 2015-2018, draws proposals to:

  • ensure professional equality between women and men, particularly by allowing a better balance between the personal and professional lives of SSE employees,
  • promote women’s access to all positions of responsibility, from paid leaders to elected leaders,
  • ensure parity between women and men in all elected bodies of SSE companies.
