This study is based on field results that reflect the current situation of violence against women based on gender in remote areas in Jordan. The study deals with the issue of violence from a legal, sociological and human rights perspective in accordance with the international standards approved by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
The study provides solutions to reduce violence against girls and women, including economic empowerment programs that alleviate poverty, unemployment rates and moderate incomes to help improve the standard of living of families in general and households headed by women in particular.
