The Sétif region is known for its economic, commercial and industrial dynamism. It also has several specialised education and training centres. In this context, what is the proportion of women entrepreneurs and businesses run by women? How can women’s participation in profitable, high-growth sectors be boosted? This diagnosis gives an idea of the potential of entrepreneurship for women’s employment and provides State institutions with ideas for increasing the influence and profitability of businesses run or managed by women.
This platform is part of the Axis 1 "Strengthening the capacities of equality actors" of the Priority Solidarity Fund "Women for the future in the Mediterranean" funded by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and led by the European Institute of the Mediterranean, in the framework of the project “Developing Women's Empowerment” labelled by the Union for the Mediterranean.
