Field Diagnosis: Developing female entrepreneurship in the wilaya of Sétif

05.10.2018 / Created by (EMWF)

The Sétif region is known for its economic, commercial and industrial dynamism. It also has several specialised education and training centres. In this context, what is the proportion of women entrepreneurs and businesses run by women? How can women’s participation in profitable, high-growth sectors be boosted? This diagnosis gives an idea of the potential of entrepreneurship for women’s employment and provides State institutions with ideas for increasing the influence and profitability of businesses run or managed by women.
