They also help in evaluating the impact of public policies, measuring the achieved progress and identifying the areas of improvement. Gendered statistical data in the areas of equality culture, professional equality, access to rights, exemplary state or gender-based and sexual violence, are therefore an essential tool for identifying what must be done to advance gender equality: at school, at work, in companies, in the public space, within families, etc.
