This study aims to contribute to the public debate on the marriage of underage girls through a case study of three rural communes in the province of Al Haouz in Morocco. The study seeks to provide answers that can help, on the one hand, to understand the prevalence of this phenomenon and, on the other hand, to qualitatively assess the performance of public actors and particularly the provisions of the new Family Code which aims to reduce this phenomenon. The aim of the study, thus, is to draw up recommendations for public action to have an impact a structured impact on social demand and to ensure a more protective framework for young minors as rights holders.
