This issue of the Education & Training magazine of the Department of Evaluation, Foresight and Performance (DEPP) is devoted solely to 11 articles on gender equality. They cover the entire education system in France: pupils and students, teachers’ personal (salary, well-being) and professional (pedagogical practices) characteristics. Some of the tackled issues are related the French territories and local experiences while others bring us an international perspective on gender equality in the field of education.
This platform is part of the Axis 1 "Strengthening the capacities of equality actors" of the Priority Solidarity Fund "Women for the future in the Mediterranean" funded by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and led by the European Institute of the Mediterranean, in the framework of the project “Developing Women's Empowerment” labelled by the Union for the Mediterranean.
