29.05.2018 / Created by (EMWF)

This book offers a comprehensive diagnosis of the evolution of gender inequalities in terms of, access to employment, education, health and infrastructure, as well as an econometric analysis of the existing constraints which affect the participation of women in the labor market. The book also conducts a gender assessment of public policies to identify efforts to ensure equitable access for women and men to their civil, political, economic and social rights. Based on data and stylized facts related to gender inequalities, the book proposes a quantitative and gender-disaggregated model to assess the impact of public decisions on gender equality and economic growth in Morocco.
