Trafficking in women and children in Morocco

Developed by the Ministry of Justice and Freedoms in partnership with UN Women Maghreb and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, this study aimed to collect information on all forms of trafficking in women and children in Morocco as well as on the institutional measures, and civil society’s operational dynamics for the prevention, the protection and the fight against the phenomenon.

This research analyses the various typologies and manifestations of the phenomenon both at national and transnational level, with the aim of obtaining specific recommendations on the necessary actions to better prevent and halt the phenomenon, as well as to protect the victims.
