The results of the efforts of the Kingdom of Morocco in the implementation of democratic choices and development in close relation with the realization of the empowerment of women in all fields manifest on several levels. These efforts have led Morocco to become a model, given the political, institutional and legislative reforms it launched. However, this experience faces several challenges, especially the challenge to strengthen the territorial dimension in the development and implementation of public policies and programs and the adjustment of women’s indicators and gender mainstreaming.
This report outlines the main measures taken by the Kingdom of Morocco in the process of women’s economic empowerment.
