Women represent over 70% of employment in the social and solidarity-based economy in Luxembourg and ULESS (Luxembourg Union of Social and Solidarity Economy) supports the increase of number of women taking the lead in social and solidarity-based companies.
In 2016, ULESS has accompanied the study WeStart realised by the European Women’s Lobby and funded by the labour, employment, social and solidarity economy Ministry. This mini-report addresses topics such as the obstacles faced by women in business creation and professional integration and the role that the social and solidarity economy can play in overcoming these obstacles.
