There is no doubt that the crisis of women’s political participation in Arab countries is still present because there is no consensus over it. Empirical research has shown that opponents of women’s political participation are wrong as they simply cannot exclude this participation because it’s controversial. In spite of the democratic transformation in the Arab countries and the political variables and liberal views that support women’s rights and call for activating their roles in the political and social fields and increasing their participation in decision-making, the role of the state in empowering women at political and decision making levels is still Limited. Despite the limited participation of women in politics compared to men, this participation in itself is an important milestone for women’s performance and empowerment.
