Women’s position in the cultural community was questioned during the October 2016 general Assemblies organized by Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes H-F Collective in Lyon. And debates have overflowed on the position women generally hold in the public space and other professional spheres. The accepted notion of a more welcoming and less discriminatory artistic world has been thoroughly discussed, and each of the participants at the round tables highlighted in her/his own way the inequalities that women face.
