This report was elaborated by a  mission whose objective was to carry out a complementary study of the existing work on the collection and analysis of data available in the sector, published each year in the Observatory on Gender Equality in Culture and communication. In order to achieve this objective, two main lines of work have been put forward, one based on the experience and the feedback of actors of performing arts (of the sector’s governance and teams), the other, statistics on the analysis of the distribution of art-related funds among women and men working or performing in theater, dance, music, street arts and circus arts.
