The report which includes 21 recommendations, highlights the recent state of public policy against human trafficking and shows that, following the first national action plan, progress is still needed to: improve the governance of this policy , taking particular account of the specific situation of minors; complement the national legal framework; ensure the budgetary and human resources of the fight against trafficking, in particular the Inter-Ministerial Mission for the Protection of Women against Violence and the Fight against Trafficking in Human Beings (MIPROF) and associations; ensure that France’s diplomacy and international action contribute even more to the fight against this scourge, and to strengthen the training of anti-trafficking actors and public awareness.
