On 11 October 2016, the National Assembly adopted this report drafted by Ms. Maud Olivier, MP and member of the delegation for women’s rights, on gender studies. What is gender, how does it help to better understand gender inequalities, their interest in the design of law and public policy? The purpose of this report is to inform the national representation and those interested on gender issues. This report also serves to evaluate the implementation of a gender equality policy defined in Article 1 of the Act of 4 August for genuine equality between women and men.
