For the tenth consecutive year, the delegation to the victims has documented violent deaths within couples, for the Ministry of Interior. The report concludes that, in France, and during 2015, 136 people died, victims of their partner or former life partner (spouse, partner or "ex" in all categories). Every two and a half days, a homicide is committed within the couple. 115 women died in one year, victims of their companion or ex-companion. 21 men died, victims of their companion, partner or ex-companion. Including the suicides of the perpetrators and the killings of collateral victims, this type of violence resulted in a total of 200 deaths, two times less than 2014.
