During the july 28-30 workshop.32 trade-unionists women women from nine countries of the MENA region took the initiative during the workshop held on 28-30 July 2016 to launch a new campaign to promote gender equality and Prevention of violence against women in the workplace. During the discussions, participants reported an increase in violence against women in the workplace, which is often not protected by legislation on harassment of women at work.
