In addition to this, the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women was adopted in 1979 and one of the main objectives of achieving sustainable development is the goal of achieving full equality between men and women on the level of human rights and citizenship rights; enabling women and their full and equal participation in all political activities, Including participation in decision-making and participation in the management of public affairs alongside men, is a prerequisite for achieving the principles of equality and equal opportunities for men and women.
